TOURVILLE’S THANKS FOR PLEASANT VISIT

PRIME MINISTER RECIPROCATES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Following is a translation of a telegram receiced from the Captain of the Tourvillo by.the Prime Minister: “As the Tourville leaves your beautiful country, I wish to express my gratitude for the warm and kindly welcome which we received at the hands of the Government of New Zealand. We send our best thanks to the two great cities where we have been so hospitably entertained and to all the associations who have welcomed us as friends. We shall retain an indelible memory of our stay in the Dominion.” The Prime Minister replied to Captain Abrial by radii: “I sincerely thank you for your telegram. We aro very grateful to know that your visit to New Zealand has proved so enjoyable to yourself and to your officers and men and that you will retain happy memories of your short sojourn amongst us. I can assure you ou behalf of the Government, and people of New Zealand that your visit has afforded us extreme pleasure and will serve to strengthen still further the feelings of goodwill between our respective countries. ’ ’
