The statement was made by Mr. H, Halliday at a meeting of the Dunedin School Committees’ association some timo ago that ho was opposed to any inspector in New Zealand being a shareholder in a printing firm which was turning out school books, and at a meeting of tho association last night a letter was from the Minister Education stating that the name of no school inspector Was on the share register of Tombs, Christchurch, who m printers of the books in use it ihMlMnfcTy schools.—P.A.
