At the Stadium to-night, Jack Haines (11.3) outpointed Lachie McDonald (11.82). Tho New Zealander forced the light in the early rounds but was sent to the boards twice for nino in tho fourth and fifth. Thereafter, Haines easily evaded McDonald’s punches and countered, trying to knock out the New Zealander, who, however, managed to escaped. Tho decision was well received by the large crowd.
