Miss Vcnales, of Remucra, Auckland, is staying with Mrs. Bonsfield, Feilding.
Mrs. W. Williams and her daughter, Miss Doris Williams, of Feilding, have returned home after a short holiday.
Ms. W. J. Day, of Margaret street, Palmereston North, has returned after a holiday trip to -Wellington and Taranaki.
The winner of the competition for a handbag conducted by the New Zealand Women's Institute Stall at tho National Dairy Show, was No. 137 (Mrs. Bioknell).
An interesting innovation has been launched by the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association —-the sending on tour of Misses Ena Stock]ey, K. Miller, and L. Hood to act as instructresses to children. Progress reports state that tho scheme has met with extraordinary success.
