STUDENT FINED FOR RIOTOUS BEHAVIOUR

As a sequel to the undergraduates’ misconduct last Tuesday, at the City police court to-day, Thomas Tomperley, aged 19 yeans was fined £2 for riotous behaviour. A similar case against Virgil Loschiave ,an Italian, was adjourned to enable him to produce evidence in his defence. The Magistrate acquitted Tempcrley of desecration at the Cenotaph.
