TRAVELLERS CHARGED BY ROGUE ELEPHANTS

Australian Press Association. Received Monday, 7 p.m. CAPETOWN, May 26. Mr Monson, a West Australian journalist, has arrived at Nairobi on a walk from Capetown to Cairo. Ho covered 2000 miles in eight and a half months. Mr. Wilson, an accountant, joined Mr Monson in the Northern Transvaal. Both aro lit. They were charged by a number of rogue elephants in Kenya. Mr. Monson was knocked down and had two teeth broken. Strangely enough, the elephants desisted from a further attack.
