If your skin is greasy substitute eau-de-Cologne or witch hazel for water. If you would steer clear of that distressing cold-weather complaint, “chaps,” dry your hands thoroughly! and rub a little glycerine jelly into them two or three times a day. Powdered alum mixed with witch hazel, in the proportions of one part of the former to eight of the latter,! makes short work of erowsfeet and nose-to-mouth lines. The mixture should be patted in gently at bedtime. .
