The outboard motor boat championship of Australia and New Zealand was run at Rose Bay. A cold southerly wind and choppy sea mado conditions unfavourable. Sea Horse (Queens land) won two heats and the champiou\hip. Her speed over the four miles course was 28$ and 29.6 miles per hour. Cettein V. (New South Wales) with 27.5 and 27.6 miles per hour, was second. The New Zealand boat, Baby Boy, finished last of the seven starters in the first heat and she did not start in the second, owing to a damaged fin.
