Hopes for tho rescue of Moir and Owen, t/he missing airmen, are growing slender. Pilot Brain in the ’plane Atlanta is pushing on across Queensland to begin the search. The lighthouse steamer Kyogle and Captain Grosvenor’s 'plane continue to comb the northern Australian coast line.
Preparing For Flight Of Southern Cross AWAY IN TWO MONTHS. Received Saturday, 2 a.m. SYDNEY, May 24. Fligbt-Licut. Ulm. on being interviewed at Melbourne, said preparations wero proceeding for the Southern Cross flight to England and they expected to be well on -their journey within two months, when the weather would bo more settled.

SYDNEY, May 24. The Federal government ship Kycgle is now searching for the missing airmen, Moir and Owen, in the Timor sea from the Darwin end. A vessel of the Dutch Government is cruising round the southern coast of the Island of Timor ‘and adjoining seas towards Darwin. Captain Brain’s Atlantn plane arrived at Longreach last night and will leave for Newcastle Waters this morning- . , • Captain Grosvenor is continuing ms search between Wyndham and Darwin.
