STUFFED BREAST OF VEAL. Remove bones from breast of veal. Make a pocket in tbo thickest part of the veal. Fill with any good stuffing. Roll and sew up the meat. Remove threads before serving. Slico an onion and a small carrot in a deep casserole dish. Add a little minced bacon. Add the breast of veal. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, minced onion, carrot, and bacon. Cover and bako in a slow oven for three or four hours, basting frequently with hot fat. Turn the veal two or three times. during cooking. When veal is done remove from casserole. Add one cup broth to drippings and simmer 10 minutes.
