Prom Our Own Correspondent. Personal. Mr. W. Miller (Kumero.a) has returned home after a holiday spent in Auckland. Mrs. Sargent (Matamau) has been spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. Martin. Mrs. Hall and her daughter, of Gisborne, have been tho guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Little, Kumeroa. Miss Lynch (Kumeroa) is spending a few days in Palmerston North as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. D’Ath. Miss Hubbard (Wellington) is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Norman. Miss Ponsonby (Blenheim) is staying with Mrs. J. Sheen. Mr. C. Doggett, Woodville, left by the Rangitikci for England on Friday. Mr. J. Jackson has returned home after a holiday spent in Auckland. Mrs. G. Lawn (Christchurch) is a visitor to Woodville. Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Smith and family loft Woodville for Waipukurau on Wednesday. Mr. E. H. Giles, of Woodville, has resigned from tho Municipal band, after a membership extending over 40 years. As a fitting recognition of his services ho has been made an honorary life member. Several members of the Woodville Court of Foresters intend to be present at the jubilee celebrations of the Waipukurau Court, which commenced on Wednesday. Golf. The Woodville Golf club will open its season on Saturday next, with a mixed foursome.
