A new model rocket sleigh, charged with 13 rockets, which explode at in-' tervals of 1-} seconds, has been tested on the frozen Starnberg lake, in Bavaria. The constructor, the engineer, Herr Max Valicr, says that an average speed of 235 miles an hour was attained, which, he said, greatly exceeded his expectations.
