LEVIN BUTCHER AND FOXTON LABOURER
PETITIONS IN BANKRUPTCY.
George Lamb, formerly of Levin, but now of Carterton, butcher has filed a petition in bankruptcy. The amount owing to unsecured creditors is £I3S 10s 5d and to secured creditor, Horn. McMillan of Levin, £250. The security is estimated to produeo £7O whilo other assets arc set down at £3O. Hie chief unsecured creditor is J. Davies of Oliau. £OO. The deficiency in the estate is £2BS 10s sd. A potition'Mias also been filed bv Frederick Thomas Shaw, labourer of Foxton, whose debts total £IBO 14s Id. creditors have no security and assets arc set down as nil. The principal liability is £SB, .due to the Palmerston North Hospital board, the of debts comprise small amounts to 1 oxton tradesmen.
