Mr. B. Tolley, of Fcilding representing the firm of Hoddcr and Tolley Ltd., left Fcilding yesterday for Auckland where he joins the Aorangi, sailing to-day for California and Canada. Mr Tolley intends being away for two months.
The funeral of the late Mr William Fergusson, of Halcombc, took place yesterday afternoon, when the service at the graveside was attended by a particularly large assembly of relatives and friends. Evidence of the widespread esteem in which the late Mr. Fergusson was held was found in the lengthy cortege there being over one hundred motor cars in the funeral.
