WALKED AFTER TWELVE YEARS
A BELIEF IN PRAYERS. Injured 12 years ago by a car and bedridden ever since, Miss Annie Davenport, aged 42, of Arclid, Sandbach, got up in February and walked for the first time (says a London newspaper). She was overjoyed at her recovery. For 12 years, slic said, she lay in bed, often in agony. Her father prayed continually for her recovery, but he died last December.
