■TENNIS DANCE. From Our Own Correspondent. Th© dance arranged by the Bunnytborpe Tennis club and held on AN eduesday evening, was very well alt ended and proved a great, success, both financially and otherwise. the com. mitten, under the secretary, Mr I- Bide had made very complete arrangements for the enjoyment of their guests and all present voted the affair a jolly time. Several members of our small community who have been working on the deviation for some time arc compelled to go further afiidd for work during the winter.
A meeting of the Sports club was held during the week. The secretary (Mr 0. Jackson) presented a balancesheet for the last, sports meeting, showing the club’s affairs to be in a very sound financial position, the credit, balance on the meeting being £lO 15s 6d. The club funds are now in the vicinity of £BO, surely a record. A hearty vote of thanks wag passed to all those who had assisted with donations in cash and trophies. The Anglican Igidios’ Guild commences the first of a series of euchre evenings this week when a pleasant social evening is promised to all who attend.
Mr and Mrs. 11. G. Sutherland are spending part of their honeymoon in Bunnytliorpe. In their match against Colyton on Saturday, the Bunnythorpc liockey girls defeated Colyton by 6 goals to nil.
