Ono hundred and forty-three candidates have been nominated for the 68 seats, while _ two Labour candidates and two Nationalists havo been returned unopposed. Labour had 44 and the anti-Labour party 28 seats in tho last Parliament. It is anticipated the McCormack Labour government will be returned, but with a reduced majority.
