A May medal competition played on Saturday on the Alanawatu Golf Club Hokowliitu course resulted: A. Grade: AI. D. Loftus 84—12—72; L. H. Thompson 54—11—73; J. L. Stout 50—13—73; H. At. Essex 88—15 —73; R. W. Alclvce 84—17—73; R. G. Moore 82—8—74; L. Seifert, junr. 77—3—74; N; F. Buist. 89—15—74; L. Gorton 82—8 77; O. H. Williams 85—11—74; M. Smith 88—13—75; L. M. Abraham 90—15—75; H. G. Alooro 88—13—75; T, Stubbs 57—11—76; W. Robertson 85—9—76. B Grade: G. Atadden 95—24—74; E. R. Chapman 90—16—74; J. P. Stubbs 95—18—77; R. C. Abraham 93—16—77.
The conditions for playing were very good. A large number took part in the competition, and an unusual number of players finished near the same score.
CHALLENGERS TOR NATHAN CUP.
Two challenges have boon received for the Nathan Cup, Feilding Gold club getting in first. The match is to be played about tho middle of June.
The Castlndiff Golf club has the next date, July 15, providing Feilding has not won the cup in the meantime.
