FUNDS WANTED AT HEADQUARTERS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The New Zealand Football Association’s annual meeting was held tonight. Only three direct delegates were present in addition to members of tho council. The annual report and .balance-sheet were adopted, and Mr H. I. Graves, when announcing his resignation as honorary treasurer, said ho believed the Association would become financial in the next three months or so. His Excellency was elected patron, and Sir Charles Statham president. The council was re-elected with Mr W. L. Wilson, honorary treasurer. An Otago remit to reviso the F.A. trophy conditions was referred to the competition’s committee. There is to be no visit from an Australian team nor is a New Zealand team to be sent away. The question of sending a schoolboy team to Australia is to bo referred to the North and South Island Primary Schools’ Association, tho delegates being generally in favour. It was decided to make a further appeal to associations and clubs for financial support. The Wellington Association has paid its subscription and has given £3O towards the overdraft and a benefit match before tho end of tho season. South Auckland agreed to make a levy of 1/- per member with a minimum of £3O, and the Westland delegate also promised £lO from his body.
