LAUNCH SUNK IN HARBOUR COLLISION

Per Press Association AUCKLAND, Last Night. A collision occurred in the harbour to-night between the Northern Company's steamer Rangitoto and .the launch Albert which was towing • a shingle barge. Tho steamer struck the launch on the port bow cutting partly through the timbering. The men aboard the launch scrambled on to the barge before the launch sank. She was 32ft. long and was owned by Parry Bros., tewing agents, and was not insured. Efforts will bo made to salvage her.
