The cattle will be without doubt the best lines of station-bred grown cattle which will come under the hammer this year, there being no coloured cattle whatever in the offering. The beef to be offered will be real tip-top quality, the balance of the offering being cattle suitable to go straight into the-fattening paddocks. The offering in sheep comprises straight, bred station Eomney Cross lines which wo can confidently recommend to anyj one "on the look-out for sheep of this [description. The 5-year-old ewes are a (very high-class line of early shorn chisel mouth sheep. The wethers will be early shorn sheep carrying a lot of condition and suitable for topping off. Mr. Boss’ yards are within 5 miles of the railway and arrangements have been made with the Eailway Department to have sufficient trucks on hand to get the stock away immediately after the sale. Intending purchasers from either North or South will be met on the morning of the sale at the “Gretna” Hotel, Taihape, at 8.30 a.m. or “King’s Court” Hotel, Ohakuno, at 9 a.m. Northern buyers can arrive on the .Wellington Express, reaching Ohakune at 4.30 in the morning and leave again on i the return journey on the Auckland Express at a quarter to ten that night. It ! will be necessary for Southern buyers to go as far as Ohakune the night previous to the sale. We strongly recommend anyone in quest of either sheep or cattle to make a point of attending this fixture.
