AFRIDIS AND SHIAHS. United Press Association —By Electri* Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 2 a.m, DELHI, April 24. Ten Hindus were shot by a Moslem in Jacobabad in the Sind district. Two men and a woman were killed instantly; three men died later and four were seriously injured. The crime is a sequel to an attack by a Moslem boy on a Hindu boy. The Hindu boy’s relatives throw the Moslem boy from a window and killed him. The Moslem's relatives, who are wild hill tribesmen, swore to tako ten lives for one. The man who was chosen to commit the crime shot all his victims in half an hour in ono district. Hindus in Jacobabad arc now panic stricken and have loft the town where the shops aro closed, as they fear reprecussions over a large area. Renewed fighting is reported in Tirahou, on the north-east frontier between Afridi and Shiah tribesmen. The former attacked the Shiahs at dawn yesterday inflicting heavy casualties. They captured two picket posts but the Shiahs counter-attacked and recaptured the lost ground. Fierce fighting is expected shortly.
