United Press Association —By Eleetria Telegraph—Copyright. 1 LONDON, April 18, The Times correspondent at Madrid says that just when tho public was supposing that the government troublo with the students had blown over, General do Rivera flung afiother bombshell by announcing that the University of Oviedo has been suppressed until October. 1930, and also that,unlcss the University of Barcelona amends its ways, it likewise will bo shut. The communique accompanying the Royal Decree says that the weakness was due to the ’ connivance of professors and students who made Oviedo an intolerable centre of rebellion. Tho government will not- hesitate to suspend every universit.v, unless it ceases revolutionary activities. No harm will be occasioned, as Spain already has too many lawyers and doctors.
