TO-DAY'S RECIPE
STEAMED HONEY PUDDING. Take llh. flour, 3oz. flutter, £IA. honey, one heaped teaspoon flaking powder, one egg, a little milk if needed, one lemon. Mix together the dry ingredients, melt the flutter and honey just enough to make a liquid, heat the egg and stir all into the dry ingredients; add the lemon juice and, if necessary, a little milk' to make it into a stiff flatter; put into a fluttered mould and steam for 2$ hours Turn out very carefully and serve with white sauce to which has fleen added the grated rind of a lemon.
