I i TIMARU, Last Night./ The third and final wool sale of the season was held to-night, when a cata* logue of 2049 bales was offered to a medium sized bench of buyers. The wool offered comprised chiefly passed in lots and back countey stragglers’ clips. Bidding was slow and erratic and prices ,were about a penny down on the February sale. Super halfbred reached ISid., Merino 17d., crossbred 15d., threequarter bred 1 17}d., 1 quarterbred 173 d., Co me dale ISJd. and comebacks. 13Jd. Pieces ranged from lOd to 15d and necks 15ii Competition for crutchings and bellies was dead and the demand for black f(eece was not keen.
