Fair to Fine The recent cyclone is nOV,T centred west of the Chatham Islands and is losing intensity. An extensive anticyclone is gradually advancing across the Tasman Sea. Expect southerly winds, light to moderate generally but strong at times on the east coast of the South Island. The seas will be rather rough but decreasing on the east coast south of Castlopoint; elsewhere smooth to moderate; light to moderate southerly winds in the eastern Tasman Sea, with smooth to moderate seas. The weather will be cloudy on the oast coast, with some scattered showers; elsewhere fair and soon becoming fino generally, with cool to moderate temperatures. Sun (to-day). Rises, 6.32 a.m.; sets, 5.28 p.m. To-morrow. Rises, 6.33 a.m.; sets, 5.26 p.m. Moon (to-day). Rises, 12.44 p.m.; sets, 9.12 p.m. To-morrow. Rises, 1.44 p.m.; sets, 10.21 p.m.
