DUNDEE TO DEMOLISH SLUMS AND REBUILD
DUNDEE, March 20. A scheme for the abolition of slums in tho centre of Dundee,' which has been prepared by tho town council, was considered at an inquiry by the Scottish Department of Health which opened in Dundee recently. The area involved is kniowa as the Small’s Wynd district, and; the council desires to demolish over 3C?O unsanitary dwellings and to dispossess over 900 people, and then to erect iftbout 40 new houses on the cleared sines and Over 200 houses at Clepington jin tho north end of tho city. \
