TUBERCULOSIS FIRST AIM OF TRAVIS TRUST.
CANCER MUST WAIT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. _ The cancer research committee in Wellington, meeting last week, discussed the possibility of obtaining considerable funds from the bequest of the lata W. H. Travis, who died in June, 1927. The trustees, who have been considering the matter, have come to the conclusion that they will bo unable to use the funds for cancer at present, holding that under the conditions of the trust, they must first direct attention to consumption.
