HAD BEEN SMOKER OF OPIUM FOR 50 YEARS
DUNEDIN TRADER FINED. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Last Night. “It is belieevd,” stated Qbief Dotective Cameron when Wong Yan Wah, aged 68 years, was charged with having prepared opium in his possession, “that this man is trading in opium." He added that tho accused could not use himself in 12 months the amount found. Accused stated that he had smoked since he was 20 years of age, becauso of asthma. . ; A fine of £3O was imposed.
