MOTOR CAR FALLS INTO BARWON RIVER
ENGAGED COUPLE KILLED. United Press Association —By Eleetri* Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, April 12. A sensational motor accident occurred at Geelong, resulting in tho loss of two lives. Arthur Emmins, aged 23 years, and Miss Madge Kclynacb, aged 19, were riding in a motor car which got out of control while descending the steep hill to the bridge over the Barwon river. Racing at a terrific speed, the car crashed through the railings, fell into the water, and,sank. The occupants were imprisoned in tho car. The woman was quickly brought to the surface by eye-wit-nesses, but was dead. Tho couple were to have been married next week.
