Fine and Cool The pressure is still very high generally from Australia to the Chatham Islands but a slight wave of relatively low pressure is crossing New Zealand. Expect moderate cast to north winds chiefly freshening somewhat and later backing to southerly again; seas generally smooth to moderate, winds backing to moderate southerlies in the eastern Tasman sea, with moderate seas. Some showers will fall in the Auckland province and at scattered places with a westerly aspect; otherwise the weather will be fair to fine, with moderate to cool temperatures. Sun (to-day).
