Hon. W. A. Veitch announces the appointment of Messrs Louis John Sehmidtt and Sydney Evelyn Wright as employers’ members of the Arbitration Court and Alexander Lamont Monteit hand William Edwards Sill for the workers.
After teaching for about 20 years in the Manawatu district, Mr. H. F. Gabites, first assistant at Central school, will take up his duties on April 8 at Christchurch, where ho has been appointed to tho position of headmaster of the Marshlands school. Mr. Gabites was originally on the staff of the old Campbell street school for seven years, and then taught'for eleven years at Foxton, before proceeding to Lyttou street school, Fcilding, where ho spent four years, subsequently taking up his present position at the Central school, where he has been for the past four years.
