KING CRAIG. i Lilies and pale shaded hydrangeas formed a decorative setting at St. Barnabas’s Church, Fendalton, Christ--3 church on Tuesday morning when the marriage was celebrated of Miss Rena .Craig to Dr. Cyril King, of Palmerston s North. The Rev. Hugh Leach officiated. . The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. A. Fraser. Her charming bridal gown, of ivory silk lacc over - white duchesse satin, was worn long, with tight-fitting bodice—the lace fulling in three tiers —and finished with a large white satin butterfly bow. Her [ embroidered tulle veil bung gracefully . from a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet. Three maids attended her. Miss Cora Craig (Takapau) as chief bridesmaid, wore a soft shell pink georgette and cream lace frock, while Miss Jessie ’ King and Miss Milliec Pilbrow were in ' pink taffeta of harmonising shade with skirts of pink net. Rose felt bats in beret shape were also worn. The maids carried charming posies of pink roses and begonias. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. W. King. Mrs. Fraser later received her guests at the Winter Garden, her beautiful froclc being of Lido bine lace and satin. . The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. King, wore a becoming black gown, with blue and gold-facings, and a large black hat. Mrs. R. King (Blenheim), was in navy georgette, Miss Mary King (Oamoru), in navy blue, and Mrs. Shaw, a sister, had chosen a grey toilet. Dr. and Mrs. King left later for tho south, the bride travelling in a model frock of pink and blue floral georgette, a close-fitting blue felt hat aud a smait fur coat. COLES—ARCHER. Cream taffeta with lace trimmings was chosen by Miss Doris Elizabeth Archer for her wedding gown yesterday, when she was married to Mr. ; Alfred Herbert Coles. Sho also'wore the orthodox veil lent by her aunt for ; the occasion and was attended by her sister, Miss Grace Archer, in lavender l taffeta, as bridesmaid. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Hugh Archer as j best man. Rev. Fancourt officiated. - Over 40 guests sat down to the wedding I breakfast at No. 9' Colombo street, the < bride’s mother receiving’ them dressed ! in a black satin dress with hat to match. ;
