THREATENED MEAT SHORTAGE IN BRITAIN
ANXIETY FOR FUTURE SUPPLIES. United Press Association —By ElectrU Telegraph—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, March 20. The conference of the National Federation cf Meat Traders’ Associations discussed the threat of a meat shortage in Britain which the delegates attributed to increased, meat consumption fn the United States and in Britain resulting in increased imports from the Dominions and probably the removal of the present United States embargo against Argentine meat. The conference adopted a resotion instructing the executive to inquire into Britain’s future meat supplies.
