TRIBESMEN RALLYING TO AMANULLAH’S STANDARD
Marching on Kabul

NADIR KHAN ARRESTED. Times Cable. Roceived Monday, 9.10 p.m. LONDON, March 11. The Times Lahoro correspondent says Amanullah is marching upon Kabul, where tho Amir is strengthening his defences and enlisting fresh troops. Civil war is expected to break out in a few weeks. All the Kandahar region k* supporting Amanullah and many prominent chiefs have already rallied to his standard. The former Governor of Jalabad, who has just arrived at Peshawar, declares tho tribesmen of Eastern Afghanistan are tired of the present chaos and are ready to support Amanullah, if they are given an amnesty. Nadir Khan, who was expected to win over a large part of Afghanistan in favour of Amanullah, is reported to have been arrested and his property looted.
