WEARY ASSEMBLAGE OF FOREIGN MINISTERS

EVERY ONE A SICK MAN. FIFTY -FOURTH SESSION OF GENEVA COUNCIL. Australian Press Association. Received Tuesday, 8.35 p.m. LONDON, March 5. The Morning Post Geneva correspondent states that a weaTy-looking body of statesmen gathered round the Council table for the opening meeting of the 54th. session. Sir Austen Chamberlain was pale from his recent illness, M. Briand was obviously worn out with fatigue,. Dr. Stresomann was white as a ghost and Signor Chioloja, the Italian chairman, spoke so wearily that the public scarcely heard a word. A well known American likened the meeting to a consultation of sick doctors of Europe. Everyone was delighted that Sir Austen Chamberlain was again able to take Ms place in the Council chamber.
