ATOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Manawatu Drainage Board, at a Special Meeting to lie held on the 21st March, 1929, at 10.30 a.m. to consider the following motion: “That an application be made to tho the Local Government Loans Board for its consent to the Board borrowing the sum of £SOO for a term of 20 years at a rate of interest not exceeding 6 per cent with a sinking fund of 3 per cent for the purpose of improving the outlet at Bangiotu Floodgate. ” Any person having any objections to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in -writing to the Manawatu Drainage Board not later than thb day preceding the said meeting.
