FEILDING TENNIS
ANDREWS COMPETITION. Tlio final matches of the men's section of the Andrews competition were played on Saturday afternoon at tho Fcilding courts, the winners being M. Waiciin and J. Higgin. Following were the results:— Second round: Waldin and Higgin (15) defeated Amos and Coppock (12) 00—56. Semi-finals: E. Graham and Simpson (10) 1 defeated L. Boddy and V. Lawrence (6) 60—54; M. Waldin and Higgin (151 defeated Mason and Berry (3) G—s 3. Final: Waldin and Higgin (15) defeated E. Graham and Simpson (10) 00—58. Future Matches. On Wednesday nest, a team of ten ladies from the Pahiatua club will visit the Fcilding courts for an interclub match. The club championships will be com menced this week and should prove interesting. This season, B grade championship singles will bo conducted and good entries have been received for this event.
