Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having a very good entry of sheep and a moderate yarding'of cattle at their Mangaweka sale on Thursday, 28th. ultimo. There was quite a fair demand all through and the majority of the stock changed hands. Quotations: Cull lambs, 7s 3d, 8s Id, 9s, 9s 6d, to 10s 4d; small b.f. lambs, 13s Id, to 13s 3d; wether lambs, 15s to 16s 3d; cull ewes, 7s 3d, Bs, 9s, 10s, to 12s lOd; m.a. ewes, 16s 6d to 19s 4d; good 4 and 5-yr. ewes, 28s 6d; 6-th. to 4-yr. ewes, 29s 2d; small 2-th. ewes, 26s 3d; 2-th. ewes, 35s 4d; light fat cows, £5 10s; fat cows, £7 to £7 10s; small P.A. weaners 335; medium weaners £2 10s to £3; 18-mos. steers, £5; 15-mos. steers mixed P.A. cattle £4 19s; mixed P. A. weaners £4.
The New Zeaand Loan and Mercantile. Agency Co., Ltd., report: At our Eongotea sale on Wednesday we had a good entry of sheep and a medium entry of cattle. Sheep sold well up to recent sales, cattle, however, were easier. Wo quote: Fat and forward ewes, 19s 6d to
20s 3d; f.m. ewes, 17s to 18s 6d; rape lambs, 19s 9d; medium lambs, 16s to 17s 2d; small lambs, 11s to 14s 6d; fat cows, £6 15s to £8 3s; fat and forward cows £5 to £6 10s; store cows, £3 to £4 14-s.
