PRIMARY SCHOOLS. In the primary schools cricket competition games played yesterday, Terrace End 157 defeated West End 72. The chief scorers for Terrace End were Richardson 43, Evans 40, Hill 19. Schultz 12 and Mutch 11. For West End, ’Wilkinson scored 31, Gills 16 and Mitchell 10. College street 117, defeated Hokowhitu 69. For the winners, Bryant scored 36, Judd IS, Levy 16, Reid lo and Abraham 12. For Hokowhitu, the best bats were Gallagher 23, Ladyman 14, Jones 11 and Wills 10. Central scored 163 against Convent, which did not bat. In the junior ’ competition, West End 62 defeated College street 56. For West End Jackson made 28 and Bailey 11. D. Mitchell made 17 for College stroet.
