FEILDING STOCK SALE

MARKET EASIER. A big yarding of sheep came forward at yesterday’s Feilding stock sala Breeding ewes and lambs were the principal attraction and the market' was easier on last week’s rates in both cases. Sound mouthed ewes sold at fair rates while other classes wore neglected. Good 2-ths sold up to 35s Cd. The entry of lambs was very mixed in quality and operations proceeded cautiously. Store cattle were neglected somewhat and the beef market showed indications of being easier. The following are the quotations:— Fat sheep: Ewes, 18s Id, 21s, to 25s 6d; lambs 19s, 24s Cd to 2Ss; 2-th wethers, 275. Fat cattle: Cows £5 10s, £5 15s, £6 2s 6d, £6 7s Cd, £6 10s, £7, £7 7s Cd, £7 15s, £B, £8 10s, to £S 15s; heifers, £9 17s Cd; bullocks, £l3. Store cattle: Weaner heifers, £2 10s, £3, £3 17s, £4 to £4 4s; cows, 255, £3 2s Cd, £3 10s, £3 8s Cd, £4, £4 2s, £4 10s to £4 12s Cd; heifers r.w. bull £4' to £4 10s; steers, £3 to £5.
