SOCIAL CLUB
On Saturday evening, in the Oddfellows’ hall, Cuba street, the Social Club held its usual weekly monster euchre tourney when there was a good attendance of card players. At the conclusion of 24 keenly contested games, the following were declared the prize winners:—Ladies: Mrs. C. Wright 1, Mrs. Carter 2, Mrs. Mcßrearty 3. Men: Mr. Hambling 1, Mr. E. Jones 2, Mr. Dunne 3.
The following qualified to participate in the play off for the goH wristlet watch on April 13: Mrs. Humphrey, Mrs. Barrowman, Mrs. Mason, Miss Olsen, Mr. Mason, Mr. Archer. At tho conclusion of play supper was partaken'df and the prizes presented.
