HAPPY MAIDS
The drab days of domestic drudgery are passing. "That the maid’s millonium is dawning can be proved up to the hilt,” said a Liverpool labour exchange official recently. "The girls we are advising to’ go into domestic service are charmed with their new life. Occassionaly wo hear of maids who, on telling their mistresses they would like to go to a dance, are given one of tho mistress’ dance frocks to go in.”
