METHODIST CONFERENCE
CONGRATULATIONS TO AGED CHURCH MEMBERS.

AUCKLAND, Last Night,
The annual conference of tho Methodist Church of New Zealand was continued to-day. It was decided to send congratulations to Mrs H. Roro, of Wairau Pa, Blenheim, who has attained the ago of 107 years, and also to congratulate the Rev. J. 11. Simmonds, of Taranaki, who has- reached the sixtieth anniversary of his appointment to the ministry. The President of the conference (Rev. J. F. Goldie) was presented with a gold-mounted fountain pen and pencil on the occasion of his birthday. A procession of witness was held in the city streets to-night followed by an open-air servico on the Civic Square.
