FLYING VICTIM’S AERIAL ESCORT
BODY ON MARAMA.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 9.10 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 23. A coffin with the body of Mr. H. Appleyard, who was killed when an aeroplane, fell at Mascot recently is aboard Marama, which left to-day for Wellington, for interment in his homo town. Three flying companions of Appleyard formed an aerial escort and dropped a wreath when Marama departed.
