APPEAL FOR ALL SAINTS’ HOMES
(To the Editor). Sir, —Would you kindly allow me space to bring before the residents of Palmerston North and surrounding districts tho urgent need of financial assistance for the All Saint’s Children’s, Homes. Wo have 61 children in the two homes and during tho last two years the expenditure has exceeded the receipt by £2OO per annum. This is due to the recent depression Mad many necessitous cases of children whose parents or guardians have been unable to pay for tLeir maintenance. The loss alone in this sphere is £l3O for last year.
Our need is for annual subscribers. The sum of ten shillings enables a person to vote for the election of board members at the annual meeting. Probably there are many residents of tho district who would willingly give an annual subscription to this deserving institution.—l am, etc., W. FANCOURT. President, All Saint’s Children’s Homes.
