GOOD PRICES FOR WAIRARAPA RAMS

LINCOLN FOR 110 GUINEAS. 122 GUINEA SOUTHDOWN FOR PALMERSTON NORTH. Per Press Association. MASTERTON, Last Night. The Masterton A. and P. Society’s ram fair was continued to-day before a largo attendance of buyers. Lincolns, both studs and flocks, met with the best sale for yoars 110 guineas being the top price for a stud Lincoln offerod on account of L. B. Wilton, of Masterton. Tho purchaser was the local breeder, Mr Q. Donald. Lincoln flock rams fetched up to 19 guineas. Southdown stud and flock rams also met with a satisfactory market for tho quality of the animals. Stud Southdown rams sold on account of W. J. Gimblett (Manawatu) topped the market at 122 guineas being purchased by Soulter and Wilson, of Palmerston North. Another good animal sold for Ellis Bros., brought 100 guineas. Southdown flocks ranged up to 31 guineas. A few pons of Corriedales were offered, but only two lots were sold.
