POWER—CASEY. A pretty colour scheme of white and princess blue was chosen for the bridal party of Miss Eileen Mary Casey, eldest daughter of Mr - and Mrs. J. J. Casey, Palmerston North, when she was married at St. Patrick’s- Church, to Mr Daniel Joseph Power youngest.-son ofMr and Mrs. P,. Power, of Woodville. The. ceremony wa3 performed by the Rev. Dean- McManus, and Miss Cora Bartlett presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church on tho arm of her father was charmingly atared in a model frock of white crepe do chine and silver lace, finished at the waist with a true lover’s knot of silver. An exquisite veil which formed a train, was held in place by a garland of orange blossoms. A shower bouquet of roses and maidenhair fern, made and presented by the Sisters of Mercy, completed a charming toilette. Miss Sheila Casey attended her sister as bridesmaid, wearing a pretty frock of princess blue taffeta. The head dress was. pink and blue rosebuds and she .carried a bouquet of roses and maidenhair fern. Mr Noel Reading, of Napier, nephew of the bridegroom, efficiently carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mrs. Casey receiving the guests in a .frock of black georgette and lace. She wore a hat to match. Later Mr and Mrs. Po-wex left for Rotorua and Auckland, the bride travelling in a smart navy frock and hat en suite.
