CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS TO-DAY. Por Press Association. NAPIER, Last Night. A professional golf tournament was opened on tho Waiohiki links this morning in perfect weather. The Waiohiki bogey handicap resnlted in a tie between H. R. Blair and A. J. Shaw, two up, whilst four others tied for third with two down. The first stroke handicap was won by P. Branch and T. Galloway each with 72 Tho first and second rounds _ of Hawke’s Bay professional championship will be played to-morrow.
