WEEK-END EXCURSIONS TO NEW PLYMOUTH
There is every likelihood of a large number making the week-end excursion trip to New Plymouth (Stratford-Mount Egmont) and Wanganui on 26st. inst. arranged by the Railway Department. Those intending to go are reminded that-tickets may now be purchased and seats reserved, and also accommodation secured at New Plymouth and Stratford by applying at any railway (Station or central booking office. The fares afie half ordinary rate and those to Stratford include the motor fare to tho mountain. The excursion facilities aro also available to peoplo desiring to visit Wanganui over the week-end. . Excursion train leaves Wellington 11.25 a.m. and Palmerston North 2.31 p.m. on the Saturday and returns Sunday night. An advertisement is in this issue.
